Red Hat skills for enterprise and GCC teams

Many engineering teams, including Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in Bengaluru, run their core workloads on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, ship containers on Red Hat OpenShift and automate with Ansible. When those teams grow quickly, or move from VMs to containers, skill gaps show up as slow tickets, fragile automation and failed audits.

Learning Dots runs Red Hat corporate training for these teams. We start with a needs assessment, map the training to your platform and certification goals, and finish with a report your L&D team can use. Whether you need a batch of new Linux administrators ready for RHCSA, or a platform team preparing to run OpenShift clusters, we build the programme around the work your engineers will do next quarter.

RHCSA: Red Hat Certified System Administrator

For new and junior Linux administrators, support engineers and anyone who manages RHEL servers.

RHCSA preparation follows Red Hat's two system administration courses:

  • Red Hat System Administration I (RH124): the command line, files and directories, users, groups and permissions, processes, services with systemd, SSH, logs, networking basics, archiving and package installation.
  • Red Hat System Administration II (RH134): shell scripting and automation, scheduling jobs, tuning, SELinux, storage and LVM, NFS and autofs, boot troubleshooting, firewalls and running containers with Podman.

Exam target: Red Hat Certified System Administrator (EX200).

RHCE: Red Hat Certified Engineer

For experienced Linux administrators who need to automate RHEL at scale.

RHCE preparation centres on Red Hat Enterprise Linux Automation with Ansible (RH294): installing Ansible, inventories and playbooks, variables and facts, loops and conditionals, Jinja2 templates, roles and content collections, and automating common Linux admin tasks across many hosts.

Exam target: Red Hat Certified Engineer (EX294). RHCSA is a prerequisite for RHCE.

Red Hat OpenShift training

For developers, DevOps engineers and platform teams adopting Kubernetes on OpenShift.

  • Red Hat OpenShift Administration I: Operating a Production Cluster (DO180): containers and Kubernetes concepts, deploying and managing applications on OpenShift, storage, scaling, updates and basic troubleshooting.
  • Red Hat OpenShift Administration II: Configuring a Production Cluster (DO280): authentication and RBAC, network security, quotas and limits, cluster updates, Operators and day-2 operations.

Exam target: Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator (EX280).

Ansible automation training

For infrastructure, network and DevOps teams standardising automation across Linux, cloud and network devices.

  • Ansible fundamentals: inventories, playbooks, modules, variables, roles and collections (RH294 scope).
  • Ansible Automation Platform for enterprise teams: automation controller, job templates, credentials and running automation as a shared service.

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer Red Hat training in Bangalore?

Yes. We deliver Red Hat corporate training onsite at your office in Bengaluru, and live online for teams in other cities.

Which Red Hat courses do you cover?

RHCSA preparation (RH124 and RH134), RHCE preparation (RH294), OpenShift administration (DO180 and DO280) and Ansible automation. We can tailor the mix to your team's roles.

Is this training for individuals or companies?

Our focus is corporate training for teams, including enterprises and GCCs. Individuals can join open batches when they are announced on our Training Calendar.

Can you customise the Red Hat curriculum for our environment?

Yes. Every engagement starts with a needs assessment, and modules and labs are mapped to the RHEL, OpenShift and Ansible setup your teams use.

What is the difference between RHCSA and RHCE?

RHCSA covers core RHEL system administration. RHCE builds on it and focuses on automating RHEL administration with Ansible. RHCSA is required before RHCE.

Should our team learn Kubernetes or OpenShift?

OpenShift is Red Hat's enterprise Kubernetes platform. If your organisation runs OpenShift, train on OpenShift directly. For upstream Kubernetes skills, see our Docker & Kubernetes course.

How do we get a quote?

Share your requirement through our enquiry form. We will respond with a proposal; pricing depends on scope, format and batch size.
